Rose Geranium essential oil is a natural hormone balancer making it beneficial for treating the symptoms of premenstrual tension and menopause.

Rose geranium oil is often compared to the rose essential oil because they share almost the same therapeutic traits. In fact, geranium is considered the “poor man’s rose” and its oil is often the best alternative to the more expensive rose oil.
Use:
Add 3-4 to an oil vaporiser, add 4 drops to every 10 ml of Macadamia Carrier oil for adults.
Uses of Geranium Oil
In aromatherapy, Rose geranium oil is used to help treat acne, sore throats, anxiety, depression and insomnia. It is popular among women due to its rosy smell and its beneficial effect on menstruation and menopause. The essential oil can also aid in uplifting mood, lessening fatigue and promoting emotional wellness:
Geranium oil also functions to assist in pain reduction and inflammation. Its antiseptic properties can help speed up the healing of wounds and treat a variety of skin problems, such as burns, frostbite, fungal infections, athlete’s foot and eczema. Haemorrhoids can also be potentially treated with the use of geranium oil.

Composition of Geranium Oil
Geranium oil contains about 67 compounds. The main components of geranium oil are citronellol (26.7 percent) and geraniol (13.4 percent). Other major constituents include:
•Nerol (8.7 percent)
•Citronellyl formate (7.1 percent)
•Isomenthone (6.3 percent)
•Linalool (5.2 percent)
Use:

Caution:
Keep out of the reach of children, may cause skin sensitivity if undiluted, do not take internally & avoid during pregnancy.
